Global stories. History. Arts. Community.

Inspire • Remember • Connect

OUR PRIDE is a cultural storytelling and media initiative of Rainbow Advocacy dedicated to inspiring people, preserving history, and advancing the universal promise of human dignity.

Founded through community arts projects beginning in 2013, OUR PRIDE was created from a simple belief:

Stories have the power to change lives.

Stories help us understand where we come from, recognize our shared humanity, and imagine a better future. They connect generations, preserve memory, and remind us that every person has a voice worth hearing.

Over time, OUR PRIDE has grown into a platform for storytelling, cultural memory, creative expression, education, and public engagement. Through films, publications, exhibitions, heritage projects, digital media, community partnerships, and international events, we seek to connect people across cultures, experiences, and generations.

Today, OUR PRIDE brings together Voices of Solidarity, the OUR PRIDE Arts + Shorts Fest, publishing initiatives, cultural heritage projects, educational resources, and community storytelling. Together, these efforts create opportunities to learn, reflect, connect, and participate in the ongoing story of LGBTQIA+ history, culture, and human dignity.

Our work explores the intersection of:

 Human Rights
• Cultural Memory
• Pride History
• Creative Expression
• Community Building
• Education
• Social Impact
• Global Solidarity

We believe history does not belong only in archives. It lives in people.

It lives in the stories we tell, the art we create, the communities we build, and the values we choose to carry forward.

Whether through a film, a book, a photograph, a podcast conversation, a public program, a cultural experience, or a work of art, OUR PRIDE exists to inspire reflection, encourage understanding, and help people see themselves as part of a larger human story.

Our work is guided by the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the belief that every person possesses inherent dignity, worth, and the right to live authentically and without fear.

The collections, publications, films, events, and creative works presented through OUR PRIDE are not simply products. They are invitations.

To learn.

To remember.

To connect.

To participate.

To imagine what becomes possible when people come together with courage, compassion, and hope.

Together, we honor the past, engage the present, and help shape a future where every person can thrive.

OUR PRIDE is part of the broader cultural and human-rights work of Rainbow Advocacy Foundation, supporting global efforts to preserve LGBTQIA+ history, strengthen community, and advance freedom, dignity, and human rights for all.
